Artist: Depeche Mode Single: Everything Count Live Label: Mute Catalog #: 12BONG16 Country: UK Format: 12" Release year: 1989 EAN code: 5016025230167 Matrix: 12BONG16 - A1 PR-E TOWNHOUSE 12BONG16 - B1 PR-E TOWNHOUSE FYI, Town House is the studio, where mastering was done: http://www.sanctuarygroup.com/index.php?l1=14&l2=4 Equipment: Turntable: Music Hall MMF-5 with Goldring 1012GX (default) cartridge. Preamp: dunno, something in my receiver :) Soundcard: Creative SoundBlaster Audigy SE Software: Linux with latest ALSA drivers for soundcard, Audacity for mastering. It was ripped from mint record on the first play. Grabbed in 96 kHz 32bit (really it's 24bit (i hope) converted to 32bit), then normalized, then converted to 16bit, then downsampled to 48 kHz. If you want to burn these files on CD, you would need to resample them to 44.1 kHz. I used 48 kHz for 2 reasons - more exact downsampling from 96 kHz and audio won't be resampled when played on computer - most of the modern audiocards don't support 44.1 kHz output, but i think almost all can play 48 kHz audio. Don't ask me why i grab it in 96 kHz :) It's software bug. Anyway, I'd like to think that having done lowpass filtering digitally could be better than having done none. Anyway it sounds great for me, hope you like it too. Photos of cover and labels are included. Released by parafin.
